Just cant get enough of this Jan Paul Gaultier Couture and her attitude
The back of the dress was as stunning as the front
That B stole Sheikha Mozah`s couture:
Apparently, this B has NO Idea Who She’s up Against! I had no idea who the hell she was, after Googling her I found out that she is a French actress called Frédérique Bel. Sheikha Mozah had it on first on Jan 20th 2010 during her visit to Brazil, then after 4 months this lady wore it to the 63rd Annual Cannes Film Festival “Robin Hood” Premiere on May 12th, 2010.
Lest just face it, everyone knows who is the real winner here, especially the hideous black clutch, girl look at Mozah`s perfect couture clutch.
Another prove of Sheikha Mozah`s timeless style:
Grace Kelly in 1956, designed by Helen Rose(photos are from http://pogglepoppy.tumblr.com/)
Sheikha Mozah in 2010, designed by Stéphane Rolland
Sheikha Mozah`s iconic and sensational Stéphane Rolland couture was one of her best fashion moment. Of course this is not a news, even Stéphane Rolland himself was “bragging” about it on Vogue.uk explaining Sheikha Mozah gave him just five days notice to create this white silk crepe gown for her appearance at Matignon during the Qatari royal state visit to France in June 2009. Sounds like he had a “make it work” moment with Mozah. He added ” But what a result! Her Highness never looks less than astonishing.”
I always thought which piece was the original inspiration for her gown. He did not have anything similar on the runway before 2009. Interesting thing is he presented something similar in 2011 which is the yellow gown on the right. You can see the waist-level hand painting on Mozah`s gown is the same as the bottom part of the yellow gown.
If you still didn’t get my point, then it means Mozah`s gown was created before the runway version, so the runway version was actually the “modified” version and Mozah`s was the “original” one. Sheikha Mozah was his muse.
Back in 2010, Sheikha Mozah got her eyes on Stephane Rolland`s clothes and started wearing them frequently. Then we start seeing celebrities wearing his clothes on the red carpet and become one of the household name in the fashion world. You can clearly see the the pattern connection between Beyonce`s and Sheikha Mozah`s gown, both from Stephane Rolland Fall-winter 2009-2010.
Sheikha Mozah is one dedicated lady, she really understands his clothes and vision. According to recent reports, Qatar Luxury Group which is the brainchild of Sheikha Mozah, it will launch a new fashion brand that has been designed by Stéphane Rolland. Those signals make perfect sense that Sheikha Mozah is not only the costumer of those luxury brands, she is about to built a fashion empire like Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH).
I just crossed out one of Sheikha Mozah`s couture from my ” Couture to be found” list. I have been searching for this one for a long tine, someone suggested it might be from Zuhair Murad, but I’ve never managed to find it from the Zuhair Murad runway show. Today, I finally found it.
She was wearing Armani Privé Fall 2009 Couture, the look was different form the runway version, top part was completely black and the bottom has “mermaid-like” shape. She looks absolutely stunning in it. She paired with black open toe pumps which looks like Christian Louboutin.
